Oh my words, Tado Tado Tado.
Continuing with the Sheffield theme I have chosen Tado for todays post. I checked their website out today for the first time in a few months and WOW they’ve been busy!!!!! I dont know how they do it, they are only a two man team, yet they seem to be able to find and produce amazing work for top class clients.
Last year I had the opportunity of seeing them speak at an Adobe conference in Islington London. I couldnt get over how down to earth and humble they were.

DED Associates or DED ASS as they now go by, was founded by Jon and Nik Daughtry in 1991 in Sheffield England. Ded Ass are famous for super clean, contemporary design and illustration.
When I was first starting out it was companies like DED ASS which really inspired me. I love their vector illustration style and layout, one day I will be that good!
Its funny because when I graduated from uni years ago I hand delivered a bound book containing one of my uni projects. Inside the book I wrote a letter asking them to give me a chance in their studio! Unfortunately they didn’t get back to me, gutted! But oh well! They are still my heroes!

Guilherme Marconi is an illustrator based in Nova Friburgo, Brazil. If you like beautiful vector patterns this guys is the main man to check out. His work has caught my eye for a couple of years now, I especially love the work he produced for Absolut Vodka and Voda Phone.

Geneviève Gauckler is a Paris based illustrating legend! I have loved her work for many years now. In many ways it was Geneviève’s cute little characters which gave me the inspiration to pick up a pen and get ilustrating characters myself.
